Welcome to the Friends of Seafield Gardens (FoSG) website.
We are a group of local residents who have formed a community group. We have a desire to improve facilities within Seafield Gardens and to ensure it continues to be a safe community area. FoSG was formed in February 2024 to serve the local community and today we outline our purpose as:
- To improve Security around the Gardens
- Encourage increased usage of all facilities including the Bowls and Tennis Clubs
- To coordinate community initiatives to engage all users and local residents and work towards a better area for everyone to enjoy
- To fund raise for improvements to the Garden’s facilities and Security

- Save Our Pond!
You will have seen another post asking you, the people who enjoy Seafield Gardens, to participate and this request is specifically addressing the pond in the Fairy Garden. We have an estimate of what it would cost to reline the pond and bring it up to date – but we need the Community engagement in order to apply for grants and would appreciate it if you could complete this survey.
